Special Meeting

Gower Heritage and Enterprise Group gives notice to members of Gower Heritage & Enterprise Group of a special meeting of the group to be held at 7.45 pm on 9th November 2016 at The Bell and Bails, Church Street , St Georges, Telford.

Interested members of the community are also invited to attend and are very welcome.

Agenda

1. Chairs report
2. Finance report
3. Motion to close current bank account and transfer finances and accountability to the newly formed Charity – Gower Heritage & Enterprise Foundation
4. Motion to dissolve the current constitution of Gower Heritage and Enterprise group and create a “Gower Old School House Friends group” – open to interested parties and the community – and automatically confers “community membership” of the Charity.
5. Motion to accept a new constitution for the Friends group
6. Motion to set up a working group to explore the mechanisms for the Friends group

We are looking for more trustees to join the Gower Heritage & Enterprise Foundation Charity, subject to the trustee recruitment policy, and for community members and friends to join the Gower Old School House Management group which is the project delivery group of the Foundation operating under delegated powers.

Membership of the GOSH management group is open to members of the Friends subject to nomination, skills requirement and constitution.

Forms will be available to anyone interested.

Note:

Membership of the new GOSH management group is open to members of the Friends, subject to nomination, skills requirements and its new constitution. Friends registration forms will be available to anyone interested on the night. We intend to set up a working group to explore the workings of the Friends group.
