Patrick Huston has contacted The Gower and a few of us met with him earlier this week. He has just come back from the European Games in Minsk where he won a Gold Medal and has qualified for the Olympic Games in 2020.
His plan is to use our grounds for Soft Archery Combat sessions. This can be played by all ages and is perfectly safe. We’re looking forward to bringing something new to you in the very near future.
Soft Archery… What is it?
Put simply Soft Archery is a safe way to introduce anyone of any age from 6-96 to experience archery where conventional archery equipment can’t be used. It’s a great way to get kids involved with archery as well as providing a fun activity that enhances eye-hand coordination, increases upper body strength, and helps to develop focus, self-esteem and self-discipline.
