Hi there, I’m Robert Grice Chair of the Gower Heritage and Enterprise Group. I followed in my father’s footsteps by attending The Gower school from the age of 5, I was also a youth club leader at The Gower back in the 70’s so I’m very passionate about the building and look forward to when The Gower becomes a functional community / wellbeing centre providing facilities not just for St. George’s but also the surrounding communities.

My interest in the Gower goes back 30 years when I attended the youth club. My eldest daughter also went there when little dragons from st Georges school was in the building. I joined the committee not only to save this historic building but with a view to bring the gower back to its former glory so can be used by all walks of the community of st Georges and something we all can be proud of. The regeneration of st Georges is long over due and part of that is having a community building ‘the gower’ as the hub for generations to come. Together we can achieve this goal!
